A New Chapter for delphistem: Welcoming Jeff Searles as Chief Executive Officer

Today marks one of those moments for delphistem.

Over the past several years, we've evolved from a broad regenerative medicine platform into a company singularly focused on one mission: developing regenerative medicine therapies for Type 1 diabetes.

As our technology matured, so did our understanding of where we could have the greatest impact. With encouraging scientific progress and a growing roadmap toward clinical translation, it became clear that this was the right time to strengthen our leadership for the journey ahead.

We're excited to welcome Jeff Searles as Chief Executive Officer.

Jeff brings extensive experience in healthcare innovation, commercialization, and company leadership. As CEO, he will lead delphistem's strategic growth, fundraising efforts, partnerships, and commercialization strategy as we continue advancing our regenerative medicine platform toward the clinic.

From the beginning, Dr. Noel Moya, PhD founded delphistem around a scientific vision he believed could fundamentally change the treatment of Type 1 diabetes. As the company has grown, he has remained committed to building the team best equipped to bring that vision to patients.

With Jeff assuming the role of CEO, Noel will dedicate his full attention to what he has devoted his scientific career to: advancing the company's technology as Chief Scientific Officer. This deliberate evolution allows each member of the leadership team to focus where they can create the greatest impact.
